Orientation

Orientation takes place after enrolment before your child officially starts with us. To facilitate a smoother transition into care for both children and families, we recommend children visit the centre (with a parent/guardian) before your child starts. It provides time for you, your child and our educators to get to know each other- what are your child’s needs, interests, culture and routines.

During orientation, children have the opportunity to explore the indoor/outdoor environments, observe the routine and activities and meet their peers at our service with the security of having you close by.

The orientation visit is a good opportunity to ask questions and build a relationship and share your child’s routine with our educator. Our friendly educators will explain our centre daily routine and answer any your questions. Orientation requires a booking to ensure we are able to maintain the best interests of our existing children.
