School Readiness
At Little Steps Early Learning, we ensure our school Readiness Program or transition to school program encourages children to be active, self-educating individuals, and recognize the importance of play as the corner-stone of all children’s learning and development.
As such, our School Readiness Program has a non-structured approach that takes children on a journey of discovery and exploration in areas such as imagination, creativity, symbology, linguistics, mathematics, music, aesthetics, science, physical, social, moral, and cultural. Therefore our school readiness program incorporates traditional academic principals which allows children to engage in critical thinking that provides opportunities for problem-solving in a hands-on, practical, being able to follow instructions, emotional regulation and concentration. In turn, this will enable them to apply, evaluate and analyse knowledge in a creative way.
Our main aim for school readiness program is to provide children with enriching learning experience that nurture strong academic foundations and a confident approach to life-long learning.
